Claude "Butch" Morgan
Claude "Butch" Morgan began writing songs at the age of 13. He was in the
secular music business for 23 years, achieving what some would call "success". He gave his
life to the Lord in 1990. Since that time he has been involved with the young and
Young at Heart Ministries.
His songs speak loudly and simply of a gracious, loving God who never gives up on us. You can hear his
testimony through his songs on his CD entitled "Now is The Time".
Butch will have more music on a new CD soon, to be titled
"Dry Bones".
He is an exciting performer who uses his sense of humor and life experiences to touch people
of all ages, bringing them into a better understanding of God's amazing grace.
Butch is active in his local church in Yancey, Texas and has led out in Youth Rallies,
Camp Meetings, Week of Prayers, and other Christian events. He went on his first
short term mission trip in 1992 to the Dominican Republic. Seeing first hand on that
trip how lives are changed by giving of ourselves through service, Butch has been a
big advocate for mission trips
and has been able to be involved in several in Central and South America.
