What I believe

1. I believe that there is a God and that He is and always has been. That He is the designer and creator of everything, and that it was done in six literal days (six, 24 hr periods), just like the Bible says.

2. I believe in the Trinity, that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit exist as one. God being the head, Jesus is His only begotten Son and His creative element and the Holy Spirit being the prompter in all things Spiritual.

3. I believe that the Bible is the Word of God and is without flaw. That it is viable for life today as well as tomorrow. That it is truth and was written by men who were guided by the power and influence of the Holy Spirit.

4. I believe that Jesus is the Son of God, and that He came here as a baby, grew up and lived as we lived.

5. I believe that Jesus came here for the express purpose of teaching us by example how to love each other, and to set us free from sin by dying on the cross.

6. I believe that Jesus was resurrected from the dead after He suffered pain and death on a cross for our sins and that He now sits at the right hand of His Father and that He sent the Holy Spirit to be our comforter and guide until he returns.

7. I believe that God's unconditional Love (grace) is sufficient to save us to the uttermost, and that He honors our best attempts to reach Him.

8. I believe that Heaven is a real place and that one day soon all who have done the best with what they know will be living there for eternity.

9. I believe that Hell is eternal separation from God by choice. ( I do not believe that it is a place of eternal torment and torture.)

10. I believe that God is Love, and within that un-conditional Love comes freedom to choose what we believe and what we do with our lives.

11. I believe that the Ten Commandments are still in effect, which includes the Sabbath day (the 7th day or Saturday) and that that period of time was set aside at creation by God to honor the creator, (Jesus).

12. I believe that when we die we remain in the grave until Jesus returns to take us home to Heaven. I do not believe in an eternal soul, separate from the body that instantly goes to Heaven or Hell upon death. I believe we are living, mortal souls, and that only God has immortality. I believe that immortality is a gift from God, a reward for Loving Him above everyone and everything, that we receive at the second coming of Jesus.

13. I believe we are living in the last days of earths history and that soon Jesus will return and that His second coming will be an audible, visual event that everyone will experience. I do not believe in a "secret" rapture.

14. I believe in the gift of Prophecy, and that the Bible tells us plainly what to expect in these last days especially in the Books of Daniel and Revelation. I believe that America is mentioned in these prophecies and that She plays a major role in the closing events of time.

15. I believe that there is much about God that we do not, and cannot understand, but I don't believe that that's a problem. I believe the problem is what we can and do understand.
