Claude "Butch" Morgan

is a treasure who has graced the
San Antonio music scene for years. He is the consummate ringmaster of any open mic, jam, or chance gathering of musicians from any walk of  the musical spectrum.
Adding sparks from either his own vast catalog of songs or playing standards with his
unique wit and style fronting one of his own bands or when he has been performing with the likes of Doug Sahm, Gatemouth Brown, Kinky Friedman or Steve Earle,
Butch is a world class entertainer not to be missed!

Casbeers!
May 2008 marked the 6th year of this remarkable opportunity for musicians to gather and jam out every single Wednesday at
Casbeers on Blanco Road.
It has been a long, fantastic run, but all things change and this is going to be a good one!
Steve and Barbara are excited and pleased to announce that they are opening a second location, in the historic King William District:
Casbeers at the Church.
1150 South Alamo
Originally built in 1912 as The Alamo Methodist Church and has recently been used as a dinner theatre under the Alamo Street Theatre and The Church Bistro and Theatre names.

The Blanco Road location will be open Tues-Fri for lunch only.
No dinners and no live music
.
Casbeers at the Church will be open Mon-Sat for lunch and dinner and starting in July they will present
all live music

at the South Alamo location.

July will be RED WHITE AND BLUZ month at Casbeers on South Alamo every Wednesday  (except the Second of July while they are still putting it all together, finishing the stage and stuff)) when some of the best blues players in San Antonio and beyond gather with Butch in a properly bluesy fashion.
Don't miss it!
There will be a stage and seating for about 80 downstairs
and also a beautiful patio area.
Upstairs in "The Church" will be a 160 seat theatre where live performances  will be presented in a concert style setting.
Food will be served downstairs only and they plan to have a full bar and offer the same menu they now serve with some additions including daily plate lunch specials.
